Biona Organic Spelt Pasta White - Farfalle Tricolore

 

Spelt is one of the oldest cultivated grains (an ancient cousin of wheat). It is high in fibre, has a higher content of protein and vitamins than wheat and although not gluten free, spelt can be tolerated by some people with wheat allergies.
Praised in the 12th century by St. Hildegarde von Bingen as "the best of grains".

 

Ingredients

Spelt flour*, water, tomato powder*, spinach powder*

= certified organic ingredients

Cooking Instructions

Place pasta in a large pan of boiling water (1lt for 100g pasta).  Add salt to taste and simmer for 8-10mins, stirring from time to time.  Strain and serve with Biona Organic pasta sauces.
